Longwood, 16th September 2011; Florida Premier Soccer would like to announce that five senior staff members have committed to participating in a fundraising event for 2 year-old Malia Jusczyk.

Malia, daughter of FPS part owner Glen Jusczyk, was diagnosed with a very rare form of aggressive childhood cancer known as Stage IV Neuroblastoma.  In an effort to help raise funds for her treatment, FPS staff members Luke Voyce, Jon Coles, Connor Craddock, Alan Hough and Dan Tidmarsh are set to participate in the Tough Mudder event held on December 4th, 2011 in Tampa, Fl.

“At FPS we want to show our support to Glen and help the Juscyck family and with that in mind, we look forward to participating in this fundraiser event,” said FPS Coach Luke Voyce.  “Glen is an avid participant in Ironman events so it is with great excitement that we prepare to participate in an event that he can relate too.”

The Tough Mudder event is an obstacle courses which is up to 12 miles long and is designed by British Special Forces to test all around strength, stamina, mental grit, and camaraderie.  The event boasts the slogan, “Probably the toughest event on the planet.”  For more info on Tough Mudder events please visit www.toughmudder.com
